I had the great pleasure recently of sitting down for an extended chat with Desi-Rae Campbell on her show Crypto Ramble to ramble about cryptocurrency. We covered actually using cryptocurrency rather than simply holding speculatively, including living all off of Bitcoin and later Dash, all unbanked. We talked about adoption and innovation, and solving actual payment use cases rather than building tech for someone who doesn’t necessarily need it. We discussed privacy and decentralization, key tenets of the crypto philosophy, as well as great projects with lots of great tech, lots of practical use cases, yet as far as hype and price are concerned, “no one cares about them.” We also hit on Dash InstantSend’s journey from great idea with extremely limited implementation to practical solution with some very impractical effects, to finally the default transaction type with maximized utility.
